My water tower series on V

The ABC network will begin airing the remake of the epic series entitled V. Four of my N.Y. water tower series prints were purchased by one of the set decoraters working on the show. The prints have been framed and will be used to decorate the apartment of one of the New York characters, so I was told.
I hope to be able to catch the premiere which airs this Tuesday, November 3rd at 8PM EST.
Some of my friends will be "water tower spotting" for me and hopefully during the course of the series (they hope to have four seasons run) I'll have some airtime :)

It actually looks to be real good and I hope to be able to watch sometimes.

Here are the four they purchased from the series.

N.Y. water towers 1

N.Y. water towers 3

N.Y. water towers 5

N.Y. water towers 14

Hey Gary,
What great news!!;)
The water tower photos are wonderful. I can imagine them decorating the walls of a smart, New York apartment.
I use to like the programme V. I hope we get the series back here in the UK... Congratulations!
Best wishes, Jo.

Woweeee!

Looks like your blog award's speach may yet be used; though modified for honorable photographic accolades, and remember not to fall off the stage.

I don't care what this tv series is like, but ABC have got great taste.

Well done. I am excited for you. :)

Bravo Gary. If I watch - and it does look like an eerily interesting concept - I'll have my eye out for your work.

Thanks for the comments and good words.
I remember this series when it came out in the 80's. It was pretty edgy and epic at the time. This looks like a pretty decent fresh take on it with the special effects of today.
Hey Sharon, Sorry to have fallen off the stage and knocked out a few of the orchestra as well during my blog award acceptance speech. http://bookishblonde.blogspot.com/2009/10/awards-and-memes-coming-out-of-my-ears.html It was not intentional of course and I was merely caught up in the overwhelming moment ;)
Forgive me.

Very cool.. but do they really anticipate a 4 season run? This is not an original series ... its like the 3rd take on it, I believe .. but regardless of how long it does run, I hope your photos get seen! They are super!

I one paid a visit to New York, just to see the water towers.

But what a fabulous city!

Gary, this is so exciting. I actually watched V when it aired originally (shameful confession time -- I love sci-fi shows). I have marked my calendar to catch these shows and will keep a lookout for your water towers. Well done!

Hi Again Gary,
Thank you for your message. I watched the series in the 80's too. I have just found some time to watch the video you posted up. This new series of V looks great... I will let you know if and when, we have it here (showing in England).
I'm glad you enjoyed your morning coffee listening to Loreena. Her music is very magical. I'm very proud of my Celtic roots.:)
Have a good weekend!
Jo.

Yes, I'm wanting to watch the new V too. If it's anything like Battlestar Galactica's re-imagining then it will be great. I wasn't a fan at the idea at first but ended up loving the show and I don't even watch TV.

I was watching last night and I spotted them! They looked great onscreen :) And the show isn't bad, either.

Thanks Victoria, I heard from a friend that she saw them in the hallway of one of the characters but she had not been sure.
I'll be looking at the episode on the ABC website (they made the episodes available on their website)to see if I can at least know where they are.
Thanks for looking out!
