Photography from the Mosaic Dance Theater Company

Here are some images from the production shoot just prior to the performances at the Westminster Performing Arts Center. With choregraphy and performances by the great Samara, and story, narratives and performance by Morgiana Celeste Varricchio as well as the incredible talent of the entire company. The next performances will be at The American Globe Theater in New York City on May 28, 29, 30, and 31.

Great captures! Love the one with the woman wrapped in scarves. Looks like she is about to emerge from a cocoon into a butterfly which she does!

First of all -- OMG the PHOTOS! True talent to get those shots with the lighting you (didn't) have!

Second, I so miss dance theater. My husband and I used to have season tickets to all the dance performances when we lived in Frederick, MD, but we've moved to the sticks and not much is available here.

Found your blog through Manon. These images are glorious. You capture the heartbeat of energy as it pulsates through time and space. The vibrant color tells a story along with how action unfolds from unseen worlds. The lens of the camera sees beyond the physical.
