Hi Cindy, yes these were taken at the Bronx Zoo house of Birds except for the Tree Swallow which was at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge.
Ironically, these are not exactly the backgrounds that were in the birds habitats. They have been altered and distracting elements removed. They have all been given the similiar painted aesthetic that I wanted from these.
