Keep this place Clean!

These are a few photos that I took while venturing through an abandoned building in Brooklyn, New York. The neighborhood was Sunset Park. The last shot is from down in the lower level looking up through a hole in the floor above. I'll surely be back there as there were many others I wanted to get but the lighting was not ideal. Must go on an overcast day.
I'm hosting larger photos here via my flickr page but it seems flickr reduces some of the sharpness from the original upload. Oh well, at least they are a bit larger for viewing.

Wow... I love how you insert your wry sense of humor with the first one. The second looks almost like a gallery installation and the last actually gives me chills. [that's a good sign] I'll have to think about why I had that reaction for a while.

These are really great shots. I hope you're able to get some more.

These are incredible shots Gary. I love the graffiti wall. The colours are brilliant and sharp.

Is there a good selection of your work on etsy? And do you ship to Canada? The boyfriends 40th is coming up in August and I'm thinking some of your work would be ideal.

Yes Gary...you need to go back. I think you do your best work in dark and dreary places. The only thing missing from the last shot is your face peeking through the hole.

These are great. That first one is just perfection.

You are an absolute genius. I found this website accidentally. I am completely obsessed with abandoned buildings and modern abandoned towns (preferable US).. however, Dixie Sq. Mall photos are some of my faves on flickr. This is the first time seeing your photos. As I stated, pure genius. Thank you for your hard work!
